Creating a new deal offers two options. You can add it to an existing account or create a new one. If you choose to create, you'll be prompted to set up a new account record.
Link the deal to a current account
Begin typing the account name in the "Account" field. We'll suggest possible accounts for use.
After picking an account, a dropdown for "Account Owner" appears. Here, you have the choice to retain the current Account Owner or switch to a different user.
Add the deal to a new account
As you type the new account name into the “Account” field, you will see a create button. Click this button to create a new account.
After you create an account, assign an owner. If not, we'll set a default owner.
