How To Reset Your Account Passwords

This article explains how to reset your user login password.

When resetting your FORGOTTEN password, you may follow the steps below:

1. Go to your account login page

2. Click the "Forgot?" text in the password field.

3. Type the email address you use to log in to your account, then click "Submit."

4. A confirmation message will appear on your screen. Go to your inbox and look for an email with the subject line "ActiveCampaign password reset instructions" and open that message.

5. Click the "Update Password Now" button in the email. You will be redirected to your Account Login page.

6. Type your new password into both fields then click the "Submit" button.

Change your password when logged into your account

1. Click "Settings" located on the bottom left corner of your screen.

2. Scroll down the "Account Settings" page and enter your new password in both password fields

3. Click the "Save Settings" button. Note that your new password must be a minimum of 8 characters.

4. A modal will pop up where you will need to enter your current password to continue.

5. Type your current password and click the “Save Settings” button.

Your new account password is now saved.

Update another user's password

If you are an account admin, you can reset another user's password.

1. Click "Settings" located on the bottom left corner of your screen.

2. Click the "Users and Groups" tab.

3. Locate the account user and click the "Edit" button.

4. A modal window will open. Click the "Change Password" link.

5. Another modal window will open. Type your own password into the first password field. Then, type the new password for the user into the second password field.

6. When finished, click the "Save" button.

7. Share the new password with the account user.
